In February 2024, Alejandro Glatt embarked on the most ambitious and significant project of his career: sending the first Mexican papaya to the Moon. The Papayas to the Moon project is a groundbreaking fusion of art and space exploration, symbolizing the limitless possibilities of human creativity and the desire to transcend earthly boundaries. The Lunaprise Mission is perhaps one of the most important space missions since the Apollo space program landed the first man to land on the moon. The papaya was carefully selected, preserved, and encased in a protective vessel designed to withstand the harsh conditions of space travel.
